SATURDAY, JUNE 27th 9:30 am to 4 pm

The June HPGC program piggy-backs on the GCFP’s amazing, state-wide garden tour! Come explore 6 garden gems west of Pittsburgh, including the Rabkin Japanese Garden in Tarentum.

Fifteen clubs from the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania have organized tours of the lovely gardens that will be in bloom across the state in June -- from west of Pittsburgh to Clarion in the north, and through Lancaster all the way to east of Valley Forge, spanning 12 counties and showcasing over 90 beautiful, private landscapes and unique public gardens.

On Saturday, June 27th the Burrellton Garden Club will showcase six local gardens, rain or shine, in the Tarentum/New Kensington area (about 15 miles northeast of Pittsburgh). Included are an English Garden, a Japanese Garden, a Cutting Garden, an Italian Garden (sponsored by Pucketos Garden Club), a Tropical Garden and a Secret Garden - something for everyone!

You can visit the gardens in any order you chose; an easy 10 mile route will connect all the gardens. Diana Pelletier will facilitate carpooling for anyone who’s interested.

Tickets are $25.00, and should be purchased in advance directly from the Garden Club Federation of PA. See the links below. The sales deadline is JUNE 6th.

You may order using check or credit card. Please remember to mark Burrellton GC as the club to receive credit for your ticket sale. Profits from the tour will be used for community beautification projects. Thank you and “Come join the Party!”
